A nice little work-around I have a MBox1 and found a nice little work around to use it on Snow Leopard. It involves Pure Data and Soundflower.

Basically you download Soundflower which is a free audio routing application. And Pure Data is a free audio/video programming software. Snow Leopard sees Soundflower so you make that your audio output in OSX.

Then I made a simple little patch in Pure Data that connects Soundflower to your MBox, since PD can see your MBox1. Feel free to email me if you want the patch: I basically have a shortcut to my PD patch on my desktop, and then go to system preferences to change my audio output to Soundflower when I turn my computer on. It only takes a few seconds and works perfectly (with a little bit of latency - which isn't a problem for what I use it for) Hope that helps! Had similar issue.

Just after I upgraded to Snow Leopard, a friend gave me an mbox to power some studio monitors I got on the cheap. When I went to set it up, I realized Digi isn't supporting OG mbox for OS 10.6. In my searches I found something that said if 8.0.3 wouldn't work for you, to try core audio 7.4.2 driver (I think that was the one anyway.) So now, I run my mbox through my 10.6.3 laptop using this old driver. My stuff works. It doesn't support my system audio. It plays both Ableton and Reason just fine, but I can't use it to play my iTunes or watch a movie through VLC.

I tried a year ago the 7.4.2 driver and it works but i cant use input channel 2 (right) to record and i dont remeber if the outputs worked good, i tried it with logic 9. Two questions please, works protools 8.0.3+ with this driver in snow leopard?

And works all mbox inputs and outputs with protools or any other in snow leopard with this driver? The Promised Land Game Torrent Download. I discard the soundflower solution, its interesting, but i need low latency performance, Thanks!
