I cannot begin a test sequence — no matter what control buttons I press, when press the power button, the same lights/indications are always displayed: ‘0’ time left on the cycle ‘Power Scrub Plus’ cycle selected (light on) ‘Sanitized’ indicated (light on) ‘Refill Rinse Agent’ light dimly lit So it ‘appears’ that the dishwasher is at the end of a ‘Power Scrub Plus’ cycle. But no event will change the status (power on or off, door latched/unlatched, other cycle buttons pressed.) Is there any way to ‘reset’ the control panel? (I tried unplugging the unit for several minutes and plugging it back in — same lights remain on.). ↓ • jpvrla I own a SHE4AM16UC which jumps from ACTIVE to CLEAN prematurely. By accident I discovered the following work around which just requires a good ear.

Power off dishwasher for a few seconds. Push ON then START and listen for what sounds like water being pumped out. When this pumping sound ends immediately open the door and hit OFF. Close the door, push ON again, listen for a few clicks, then push START right away.

You should then hear: the sound of water filling (about 8-10 secs) silent pause of about (8-10) seconds sloshing sound indicating success You may have to try it a couple of times to get it right but be patient. I tried a conventional start a few times but I always have to go back to this work-around. ↓ • mollusk I have a Bosch SHE6AF02UC/05 dishwasher and by trial and error have found the key to running the test program. Try running a wash with a couple of caps of baby sterilising fluid. If the d/w is connected directly to the sink, remove the spigot and check there aren't any blockages.

I run a dishwasher cleaner thru my d/w every 3 months and every couple of week I will load the machine for a wash, add tab to dispenser and just after starting a 65 degree wash, I will open the door and tip in approx one capful of sterilising fluid. Good luck baby fluid also good as a sluice wash for your washing machine on 90 degrees (w/m empty, approx every 4 weeks). Answered on Mar 26, 2014. You can firstly check filter by removing lower rack and unscrew the filter asm. Espically the round basket for blockage,if that is clear reinstall it and check your disposer that the drain hose connects to in most cases for blockage, if sink drains normally the disposer is ok.

If you have one check air gap on sink for debris in it,it's a chrome(most of the time and in some cases a different color) cap that sits up about 2 inches somewhere on the sink. While it deals with a different brand i have included a youtube video that will show you how to check air gap. Good luck,i hope this helps Gene Answered on Aug 01, 2011. Sounds like you have a water leak. The machine is fitted with a leak detection device that runs the drain pump constantly as a safety mechanism. If you want to look your self you will need to pull the machine out and tilt it back and if possible remove the bottom panel, should be 4 screws, this gives you access to the components. If it doesn't come off then you will need to remove either 1 or both of the side panel, its just a number of screws holding them.

Then see if you can see where the leak is coming from, you may need to order a new part. Hope this helps. Answered on Mar 07, 2011.
